The origin of these lamps is in Ciutadella de Menorca, where I lived in an old garage that needed to be illuminated. There, I imagined the construction of a lamp with warm and diffused light using the materials I had at hand and made the first prototypes. The result was an arch of linen compressed by a wooden frame. From this modular structure came the different models of the collection. The connection between the structure and the shades is made by means of wooden rods where the shades are fitted, functioning like buttons.

Each lamp is handmade in Barcelona and is a unique craft object produced by the carpenters of Unidad Práctica and the lampshade makers of Armazones Maresme. The model photographs are by David Dollmann.

A mig matí

El sol, el savi vell, va dissipant minúsculs dubtes de foscor, deixats, fins ara, per resoldre.
